Hi, I've been having this problem for a while and am at a hairpulling loss.

If I click on a link in the links toolbar of IE (6.0), then it opens in the first IE window I have open, not the one I click the link in.

However if I click on the same link via the favourites menu, then it opens in the correct window!

Anyone know how to fix the problem?

Thanks,

Kie

Goto Tools | Inetrnet Options, and goto the Advanced tab, and somewhere in the list there's a listing for "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts". Uncheck this box, hit OK, and you're all set.

if I do that then everytime I click a link, it will be opened in a new window.
Perhaps my question wasn't clear enough:

I want to be able to click a shortcut from the links toolbar and have the appropriate webpage open in the same IE window (instead of the first one I opened, which is what is happening now).

Any takers?
