Internet explorer issue

ALright, i have a problem with Interent explorer v6. Everytime i load explorer it takes forever, even to type in the URL. When i load task manager and look under processes, there is an application running, its called sapisvr.exe. When i try to end the process, Explorer crashes. 😡 THis app seems to be chewing up about 34,400K of mem. hElP please

As far as I know sapisvr.exe is speech recognition application under WinXP.

Disable speech recognition.

disable it
its a XP thing... i disabled it beceause if you;re not using the 'talk n it types' feature its not worth keeping it on... and as far as i know its ready in the background waiting for your command providing you have trained it.
