Internet Explorer hair loss ... HELP !

Hello,
I run my screen at 1026x768 and I like to keep my "favorites" handy... under ME i could leave favorites open, but autohide used to slide it out of the way ... now I have to maually press the autohide "pin" every time !!! how can i fix this ??

right click on the taskbar > click properties > Taskbar tab > Customize and choose what you want there by cllicking on the item
