internet explorer 6 cop out

Every time I try to access page set up & about Internet explorer in drop down menu theres a loud bang from the audio & the page appears for m. sec then disappears help it's driving me nuts!!!!!!!!!

i used a free one and it wouldnt allow me to open new windows and also made a noise
