Internet connection problem

This has prob been asked a million times before but I can't find it. I'm pretty much used to leaving my computer on overnight to d/l stuff cos I'm on a slow 56k modem. Been doing it for over a year with no problems. But then literally overnight WinXP decides that it'll disconnect me after bout half an hour if my comp isn't doing anything.

I've tried fixing it by trying to see if that checkbox under my connection properties somewhere that still says not to disconnect if the connection is idle, but I can't find it for some reason.

Just wondering if anyone knows a way of fixing this cos it's kinda annoying me having to reconnect after I walk away for a while.

Cheers,
Milts

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
