Internal PCI ADSL modem

I'm looking at getting an ADSL connection. My ISP wants to supply the modem but they insist on a Speedstream 3060 Internal PCI one. Are there any downsides to this type of modem (an internal one) as opposed to the usb or ethernet interfaces? Any info would be appreciated.

There isnt much of a downside if you only have one PC, the problem comes in where you have 2 that you want to get on the net, then a ethernet ADSL router would be best.

Pretty much it doesnt matter though

you will need to get a software firewall though just for piece of mind.
