Hi guys,

I have a PIII 733 with intergrated sound(Yamaha). When this 'puter was put together for me, the builder asked if I wanted to stick with the intergrated sound or have a SB card installed, which I opted for. Now I have an SB sound card with a disconnected intergrated sound, on the same motherboard. My question is: What did this builder do to deactivate the intergrated sound and get the SB card working?

Thanks in advance....

Hi.. I had this problem once before.

Just go into your bios (hit delete key when you boot up).

Navigate to the Intetgrated Peripherals and disable the integrated audio. Then save to cmos and reboot.
Your SB card should work.

Thanks, y'all!!

Do I have to uninstall anything, or is the jumpers on my motherboard enough. This is before installing the SB card. Is the BIOS settings as well enough? Just read through the manual and found the jumpers on my motherboard. Thanks again.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
