intel aceleration app

i have a intel board (d845wn) and it cames whit a "intel application accelerator".... but..what is this for?.. it accelerate programs?...any?..
help.

it is there to streamline the way the intel proc and board processes instructions and executes code, it will speed up some apps and boot time and such.

I've had a lot of people call tech support with this problem..They get a message that their computer has no or very low virtual memory settings..and if they try and change it..it will not stick..my advice..install that sucker...there is a kb article on it somewhere here regarding that motherboard or boards with intel 815 chipset...here it is..Q316528
