Instant Messengers

It all depends on what you want to use your IM client for. From personal experience, I find that Trillian Pro is really good for just basic instant messaging and file transfer.

For video/voice conversations, MSN/Windows Messenger seems to work the best on broadband. I use it frequently, and it's always realtime video with very few, occasional glitches.

Cheers!

They are working on that. I read an article on Yahoo 2 months ago that said the instant messenger type companies are working together to try and make a standard, since they can see this is actually a big app used on the internet. I'm not sure why any of the smaller companies would want to do this, since Microsoft will just conform windows messenger to those standards and bundle it with windows. Then all the other proggys are pretty much out of the picture just like internet explorer and netscape navigator.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
