Installing IIS

I was wondering if someone could help me out. I have Windows XP Pro and was trying to install IIS. After it examines my files an error message pops up saying that one or more files could not be found and that continuing may result in more errors. It also displays that it is error code 0x57. Any help would be appreciated.

I had difficulty myself trying to install IIS. Be sure you have your XP disc in the drive. Do you have SP1 installed? I know I had problems because the Service Pack was installed, but I had deleted the ServicePackFiles folder... bad mistake if you want to install IIS.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
