not on my boards, Intel's bios update on all their boards is run right in windows. click the .exe, it asks a question or two then runs, reboots, is finished.... 2 minutes.... never easier
as for anything else set it on CD, even the handy win98 boot disk (to boot w dos or/and CD support) i setup on a cd.... handy for laptops that you can use both drives at once
someday they will go just like 5 1/4 floppy, same with p/s2 ports, Intel tried that but had to bring them back.
