Installing a game and deleting all files.

When a game installs, the neccessary files are on your computer. To delete the game, a wizard is usually used (If there) and this deletes the neccessary files to run the game.

I read somewhere that all files from that game are not removed and some may be hidden. Is there anyway to delete or find out all files a game has added or modified and get them off so the system is like you never installed the game.

(Note: I might have heard wrong and the wizard deletes all files)

Cleansweep, from Norton, does a fairly decent job of searching for any reference of a program and deleting all references to it. It's not perfect, and it will miss a few, but works pretty well over all.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
