Hi guys,

I am using, for the first time, Ubuntu Linux. I would like to know if I can import my firefox/thunderbird settings from my XP machine into this machine.

This is actually my first time using Linux all together.

Where can I put those settings folders that I will copy from the Application Data folder from my XP box?

Thanks in advance.

in your profile.jss or whatever it is called, make sure to edit the paths so they make sense :p

Ha, that is why extensions are not working, Thanks X-Istence.

I wouldn't just copy the files, you can use the bookmarks.html file for your bookmarks, but just configure Firefox again, it would take less time.

I would like to note this is the method I usually go with when moving between operating systems

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
