Image save in IE

When using Save As.. in IE to save a JPG, the only option I have is to save as a BMP. I also lose the file name and get the default untitled option. I can't find a configuration option for this, is it possible to change?

Goto Tools, Internet Options, Temporary Internet Files and Delete Files

if the above does not work try reinstalling IE 6. I had the same problema and the only thing working was doing a reinstall of IE
