Hi people

Just bought XP home.

And was extremely ANNOYED to find out IIS is not included.

IS there anyway I can get IIS to run on Home? OR is there an alternative that will let me run an XML site locally?

THANKS

Dude - It's HP Home - there is a reason for that
:) I use Omnicron HTTP it works well and is easy to set-up - and it's FREE!

Home = rip off, am I finding out.

Had a "trial/test" of the final XP prof. liked it soooo much I thougt I would invest in my first OS (tryig to do the right thing). XP home is slower than XP prof. (especially at booting up) and does not have 1/2 the crap I need...GUTTED...

Thanks for the suggestion I will try that when I go home!!!

Cheers

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?

Impressed you have kept this alive this long EP! So many sites have come and gone. :(

Just did some crude math and I apparently joined almost 18yrs ago, how is that possible???
