let's say you have a website up. you decide you want another site up simultaneously so you open a new window, then click on one of your links. now why does it task over to the first window and open the link there?? anyone know what i'm talking about or, better yet, have a solution?

why dont you just right click over the link you want and just choose "open in new window"?

Some links pop up in a new window, depending on how the designer made it.

Just hold down SHIFT while clicking a link to open it in a new window.

sorry for not being clearer. 🙁

i'm not clicking on a link, but rather on a shortcut in my 'links' bar... it insists on opening it on the first instance of the browser where i already have a page up... not the new window i opened and clicked on the shortcut at. try it and see.

okay, it only seems to be shortcuts that are placed in folders in my links bar... quite moronic. 😡
