I wonder is anyone can help me. I have a Compaq Armamda M700 laptop with Windows XP (SP1). I recently purchased a PCMCIA IEEE 1394 card. When I insert the card, Windows XP detects it but does not install a driver. I was told that no driver is required for Windows XP and none was supplied with the card.

Any help would be appreciated.

You mean it does not work without a driver, that windows does not install, or it works with no drivers?

Check the website of the people that made the card.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
