IE7 Problem

I have upgraded to IE7 and am finding that is not too bad use. The only problem with it is, is that when i close internet explorer it seems to close the window completely, but the pc seems to slow down. Doing the 3 finger salute shows that it is still running and most of the time hogging 100% of resources. Is there a fix so that it shutsdown completely?

Hmm, it might be due to something else on your system. Do you have other programs doing the same thing?

Also you might want to check for the latest updates etc.

I have just done a clean install of XP HOME and downloaded all the m$ updates. This is the only programme that does this.

Does not happen to me or any of the people I have talked to. Is it iexplore.exe or explorer.exe you seeing still running?

I would wreckon even if it is the processes you mentioned, something is hooked into it.
