Just a quick annoying problem. When I open a new window from within IE6 it doesn’t always put on the Status Bar at the bottom. Is there any way to force IE to put it there?

Thanks,

what usually works is to open a new window..select status bar from the view window and then to make sure you close the window the normal way by either clicking the x or double clicking on the left corner, this will save the settings for the window such as size and such and will work most of the time, it always does for me atleast 🙂

I just had this problem, and it is very annoying. If you hit ctrl+n it wont have the status bar, unless...

Open Windows Explorer, and View--->Status Bar...

Then, Tools---> Folder Options... click the VIEW tab, and Apply to All Folders

Now, no matter how you open a new window in IE, a status bar will be there...
