IE6 Crashing

Help!!! I keep getting crashes using IE6 w/ my WinXP Home Ed. on a dual HD, where the physical D drive is dedicated to XP. While surfing the web, I will get the message that explorer has problems and will be closed, and an error log will be generated...I have encountered this several times, since receiving an automatic download and install for IE6 last week. I tried to "repair" explorer, and ran scr /scannow...but got the message "Please insert your WinXP Professional Disk"....hello!....I do NOT have XP Pro installed on my pc! I have the full home version!....How do I fix this annoying problem? I have NOT been able to find any answers to this...here is part of the error generated using drwatson:

Put your XP cd in , when the install comes up , continue , BUT choose "Repair" option.

Thanks! It's Fixed

Appreciate your help. What I did was ran the command scf /scannow...and it fixed my problem...been runnin' great (knock on wood) since. :)

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
