IE Favorites menu tweak?

I am looking for the IE favorites tweak, the one which speeds up the menu because for some reason it is extremly un responsive althought on all my settings (eg Start menu) I put them on max response and it works fine. I remember there was a tweak on xp-erience correcting this problem (you go to CMD and type something) but for some reason Xp-erience has no tweaks or guides section anymore.

Someone please tell me that command you type in CMD or some alternative method

Try this:
In Control Panels--> System--> Advanced tab--> Performance--> Settings.
Clear the Fade or slide menus into view check box, and then click OK. See if that helps.

I am at work now on my Win98 machine so I may not have the location exact. But, you get the picture.

nope it doesnt do anything. I know somoene in this forum knows wat command I am talking about thtat u type in command prompt, plzy help me out and tell me it, thx
