IE exe download problems

I tried using IEFix to get this problem solved but it doesn't look like it fixed my problem. It seems anytime there is an exe file, my IE browser TRIES to open it like if it is an image file or text file. It doesn't seem to do it with any other file type. I know that in Firefox and Netscape, it gives me a download option with .exe files.

So is there any other way that I could get IE fixed to download .exe files?
