IE error

When I am running IE6 I keep getting a error message then shut down of IE the ending of the message is always "WER10.tmp.dir00\appcompat.txt" but it may be WER5 or 3 or 1 or some other number. When I try to find these files in there location they are not there. It's driving me mad, anyone got any ideas.

Well, you can try this link on how to try to repair IE6 before reinstalling.
