IE download problem after install Flashget plugin for Opera

This is mess up, I install the flashget plugin for Opera, and now IE behave just like Opera when you click a link to download a file. It will download to the browser like Opera instead of popping up to ask you to what do u want to do with it.

I uninstall flashget's plug, and opera, but it doesn't help.

It's there a way for me to restore the default for IE?
Or can I reinstall it, but how? Since windowsupdate version is newer than downloadable version.

First you can set the action for filetypes in Opera in Settings - filetypes.

For the behaviour in IE you'll have to go to control panel - folder options - file types - highlight an extension like .zip, click Advanced and check "Confirm open after download".
You'll have to do this for every relevant file extension.

Alternatively you could try to use system restore to restore your computer to a state before you installed that program.

i guess i am going to use mozilla from now on. don't feel like reinstall the system.
