IE Ads?

when i go to a website, usualy IGN, there are always these double underlined links that take you to a sponsered web site. when you hover over them a box appears and give some info about what and were to buy it. are these put in by IGN or is it something IE does on it's own? if it's IE, can you turn it off. i would think it is just done by IGN so they can send you off to buy from

thanks and sorry if this is a dumb question,

its the title attribute of the link I think, either that or the name attribute, its one of those

so its actually part of the HTML/xHTML standard, the rendering of which is just a choice made by the browser which in your case is MSIE

Ep, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS
