I was wondering how it is possible to take a screen shot of a desktop icon such as a shortcut so i can use it in a document. I mean i can use ctrl and print screen but that gets the background... any help?
What in particular are you looking for? Because you can always grab a gif of the icon from the program file or if it is in Windows itself
%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll
open the containing folder which the icon is in, then you'll be able to take a screen shot on a white background from which you can crop the needed image.
Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
