IBM Ideascan color scanner probs with XP

Hi guys,

I have a 2 yr old IBM Ideascan color flatbed scanner, and I'm unable to get it to work in XP...any ideas?

I'd prefer to keep it as I don't feel like dishing out another 200$ for a new one.

Just install the software that came with your Ideascan. I got the same scanner and it works fine(the printer port one, right?)

Yep, that's the one. (mine has those 6 colored bubble buttons on the top front). I just want to confirm it's the same scanner, before trying to re-install the software.

Do you have your parallel port in EPP mode?
