i875P Dual DDR400

i just saw the benchmarks with the P4 at 200FSB and at dual DDR400, and it kills AMD in everything. AMD can't squeek out one win in any benchmark. what do you all think this will do, or what is your all opinion. for my next box, this is making me favor intel, just a bit more.

if i am getting a new rig i am going all out, top of the line, all the money in the world. so whatever is the best and the fastest for me and if i buy intel, my avitar will deff change.

Intel have surpassed AMD before now, then AMD became the best, and now it looks like Intel are reclaiming their crown .... will AMD fight back, and win though ?

Nobody wins. This is about the eternal battle between goo... um... Intel and AMD. Intel was the best, AMD took over, Intel came back. So will AMD do, and Intel again, and... and so on.

Remember about a year ago...? Many were knocking the P4 and the ATI cards... I always defended both products to the end, and look what has happened... Intel/ATI wear the performance crowns. AMD should do the noble thing and slash their chip prices by 80% and admit defeat.

May I suggest the Abit IC7-G for your P4...?

Most of the performance differences can't even be judged by human senses. You need to use bench mark tools to measure them.

Pound for pound AMD blows away Intel in price perfomance ratio.

WTF does Microsoft have to do with it? You don't have to buy their OS. A PC works well without Microsoft.

The problem now is that no benchmark yet (afaik) is multithreaded. Therefore the HT technology gets bad benchmarks.
