I want to transfer my homemade video recording (VHS tapes) to VCD disk. I would like to hear from anyone who has experience with using products of this kind.

Also i will be using my dell inspiron laptop 8100 when i get it in a few days time...what do i need to make sure on the laptop that it has a video card or something..??
