I have only ever needed a PCI slot once, and I never ended up keeping the card, it was my satellite card. Yet, I guess people do still need it more often.

Having only one PCI slot does make me nervous, but wouldn't kill the deal. About the only thing I can think of that I would actually *need* to use the PCI slot for is a modem, just in case I need to fax, but I don't have a home phone line anymore, anyway.

I never used PCI slot either. Let me rephrase that. I haven't used a pci since windows 98 ...

Actually I am using mine right now for my network card, but techically I don't need that card, my onboard does still work. lol

The Ausus will only P6t will only go to 12 gig max memory, and anything over 1333 needs over clocking. The Evga will go up to 24 gig memory - 1600, without overclocking .. ... That is a good difference
