i went from 4 to 8gb - you will see an improvement when you put them in

I got it; I installed it; I do notice a difference.

Next I will be installing vista ultimate 64 bit ...

going from 1 to 3 should make a huge difference on vista congrats

but i wouldnt try x64 with less than 4.. u wont notice any improvement (it may even go slower)

yes there is no point in using 64bit on less than 4gb, you wont gain much if anything by doing such, best stick with 32bit unless your going to go over the 4gb limit any time soon
