I need advice

I just ordered the 9800 PRO Sapphire 256Mb card.


I am hoping for the R360 core. We will see.


Least I can sell it if nothing else.

Got the card today, it has the R360 core and Hynix memory, and is able ot be flashed to a 9800XT Bios, and clocked up. I have heard that it *could* need a better cooling if I want to go as fast as the GPU and RAM can handle. But that will have to be later.

Stock HSF is teg geh. But I still got 380sih core and over 400 memory. the card never locked up, but I was seeing the Z-Buffer failures and projected lines, very wierd looking. But that was around 390-400 core and 420 memory.

Thanks EP, I got one on its way, but I didn't see any RAM sinks from Arctic on newegg, so I got some http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835118220 instead.

I still have AC5 so I will use that and clean it with some electrical cleaner (pure alcohol) before I mount anything.

I have my flash ready to go too, it all should be here monday hopefully.
