If you're doing folding the computer probably won't find trme to optimize

you can call the process by pasting this into a command window

Rundll32.exe advapi32.dll,ProcessIdleTasks

I would turn off folding and anything that's running and walk away from the box for about ten minutes

I've noticed old files that accumulate in prefetch also tom9042 that have been deleted. I go in once in awhile and delete everything. It doesn't effect anything on my PC and all my programs run on C:\ drive but I'm also runnning 2 gigs.
