I can only save pictures from IE in bmp. Why?

Ok- here is one for the forums.
As of this afternoon, I can only save pictures from the internet ad bitmap. ( Only one selectable from the drop down box). Tried this on many sites, and still can't get it. I can copy and paste it into photoshop, but that takes a long time. Has this happened to anyone else?

I seen the problem with win98 but not on xp. never could figure it out either, format always works of course 😀

I had the same prob once.

I found that clearing my pagefile fixed the problem, have you tried that or clearing you temp folders?
