I have xp pro on my machine, and I need to password protect my hard drives, so that me and my friend can share files, over the internet, and map each others hard drives. Will someone please help me out.. Thanks!

You can only do this if you are running XP Pro. You need to turn off simple file sharing.
explorer->tools->folder options->view->scroll down to the bottom of the list.

Just to make sure, but you probably already know that you need to be running NTFS in order to properly protect your hard drives. If you don't know a lot about NTFS make sure you do some studying on it, and Windows 2k style security.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
