Ok, I'm sorry I know something similar has been posted before!.. but what was posted was little or no help to me!
ok what i'm after is I want to enable Active desktop (which i can do
) and then be able to run things like My Computer, Windows Explorer, Half Life, Music stuff etc all from Hyperlinks.
If I Just slap a link on the page that I'm using for my desktop and say "c:\windows\explorer.exe", then it does as its expected and asks me if i want to save or open the file. This is annoying!... I want it to simply open it.
Can anyone shed some light on this? I know its possible coz i have seen many desktops like this.
