i was browsing around the net, when i just decided to go to
http://www.lol.com/
this site seemed to contain a long list of some files from my computer.
HOW did it get there? is it on the internet for others to view?
or is it offline?
right now im just a bit confused

[EDIT]
oh, and can anyone explain it?

i think i figured out where the list is from. it seems to be a list of files im sharing on kazaa, and the site wont work unless kazaa is running

the site only works when kazaa is running in the background, but the main thing is how can i stop the list from being created?

It will not work for me, in IE6, with Kazaa running. Are you using Kazaa Lite, or just regular Kazaa? If not, then I recommend getting Kazaa Lite.

I run K-lite, and this site doesn't work for me. Assuming it's a good thing.

im running kazaa lite, with speed up aswell. are you sharing files?

[EDIT]
do i need to include a pic for proof, or does everyone believe me, how can i create a screenshot thats also small in size?

doesnt work here either, with K-Lite, and speedup, also sharing files

Try this:
Go to your C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc and look for the HOSTS file. Open it with Notepad.

Check to see that http://www.lol.com has not been redirected to localhost or 127.0.0.1
If there is an entry in there corresponding to http://www.lol.com delete that line, save the file, and reboot. Then start KazaaLite, and try the site again.

Let me know how it goes.

yup....theres no problem as long as no one else can view the files, i suppose, but i would like to find out how it happened

I just opened it in IE and the page displayed was my local server (port 80)
turn off the server and I get a page can not be displayed error.

It's either just a re-direct to "localhost" or some gehy IE exploit that shows localhost.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
