HTML help !

I am creating my website and I have a section of wallpapers.
Now, in that page I am showing a preview of the pic and when someone clicks on the pic i want each picture to open a window, with a larger image, and a description.

Now, what i want to do i to have just one format showing-pic html file, and sending to the preview page the info of each wallpaper.

I want to create one of those html, not one for each picture.

Anyone ?

I think that with plain HTML you'd have to create more than one file based off the same template to display different things.
There may be a way to do it with javascript, but not one that I'm aware of.
