HTML Editor Program

I know, I have used Notepad etc to create webpages. I become lazy with repitition. I'm wondering what is the best software for creating webpages. Hmm, maybe not that, but HTML codes within the program.

I long time ago I played with 1st Page 2000, but stoped, asking now what seems to be the best. I might try the new version.

Notepad2.

Although I used to use Dreamweaver a lot back in the day.

I find dreamweaver to be to bulky and such. I like to mostly use it to configure the shell, then use HTMLpad to configure the rest. HTML Pad has a preview built into it so you can check it as you go .

Thanks for the replys, I just tryed all of them (always had Dreamweaver for other reasons) I think for my basic and alittle more uses, I'm going to go with the new First Page 2006, amazing program now.

Thanks everybody

Whatever works for you BMan is all that matters :)

Johnny/Bman - can you post screenies of the two apps?

Here are the three different screenshots

There are different modes, those seem to be the more complicated kind, I like Normal Mode, easy to read and use.

If you want anymore extensive shots, please ask. I'll load some when I get home.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
