HP Software help

Hey Guys. I just installed a HP PSC 1210 All-in-One on my mothers computer and after I had it all set up and ready. In the sys tray there is a "Saftey Remove Hardware" and I dont have a clue why its there 😕 Any help?

That's the ICON you get when you plug in a memory card. If it's the same function as for memory sticks then when you double click it it will come up and ask if you want to power down the USB port to disconnect the printer/fax/etc.

Never saw it on a printer before...

Right clicking it may offer a menu option to disable it.

I have installed a lot of hardware recently and this often appears via general hardware instals ,but should disappear after first or second reboot.
Might vary depending board used.
