HP or SONY

I will buy a CD writer but i don't know what is better
HP or SONY
they have the same apeed but i want your suggestion and advice

Romeo why dont you look at a Plextor instesd of the sony or hp..It is a fantastic writer.Never burn another coaster again.....Just food for thought..

where did u hear the weak laser thing? rofl...sony is fine...can do RAW and RAW DAO etc...overburn is 92 minutes I believe(~870 megs?)
this is for most of Sony's newer writers...

HP is better than sony. Sony sucks when it comes to computer products

I have use Sony CD-Roms for years and never had any problems at all. Now I use the Sony 16X/10X/40X CD Writer and again, have had no problems.
