Some word processors will allow you to do this. It has nothing to do with the printer.
You tell it to print every other page, and possibly in reverse order, depending on how your printer stacks the output. Then you flip the printouts over and drop it back into the paper tray. This is how the very early double sided copy machines worked.
With inkjets you have to wait for the ink to thoroughly dry before printing on the second side and even then with cheap appear there will be bleed through.
