hp 1310 series printer problems

my hp printer doesnt print documents properly. it prints everything on a page, exept the text. can you point me in the direction of how to solve this problem.

Verify you have the latest drivers installed. What apps are you trying to print from?

Can you print from Notepad OK? MS Word?

doesnt print from word. ill try and update now.

hp psc 1317 - it says i have the latest drivers installed.


doesnt print text from - ms word, word pad or notepad.

but it prints thing like a table, without the text in it.

Try to un-install/re-install.

i thougt mebe i had run out...but the little light on the printer isnt flashing on check print cartrdge.

Did you try removing the printer and then re-installing it?
