Do i get my 30 gb hard drive to ,recognise dma,instead of pio?.
I have a maxtor H/D 30 gb ,which will not change in the bios
or device manager?🙄

Maxtor has a program called MAXBLAST that is used to set up and format the drive. I have always used this program and never had any problems with maxtor drives. good luck

Install the VIA 4-in-1 drivers in Windows 2000 compatibility mode should resolve the issue for you.

Just installed the 4in1,and my pc wont boot,the bios wont find my H/D,S🙁

the intel app accelator has that option in it. I dont know if that works for you though
