How to run games under limited user...

The only way I've been able to run my games on XP was one of two ways:

1. Initially, I installed it onto the user account. Can only run game when that particular user.

2. Now, I have games installed under C:\Games. I can only run the program if I do the "run as" command and input the admin name and password.

Is there another way of setting it up so other limited users can play games without knowing the admin credentials? Thanks.

Most games will need to be run in a user with Admin privledges or using Run As. Sorry, as far as I know, theres no way around this, due to the "limited" nature of the privledges afforded to a limited user.

Hey EP! All good with me, applying for Microsoft MVP right now, should have done this a while ago.

Notifications don't work, I only found your response by coming back to hunt up some threads, if you want, give me your email address so we can keep in touch easier!

EP, glad to see you come back and tidy up...did want to ask a one day favor, I want to enhance my resume , was hoping you could make me administrator for a day, if so, take me right off since I won't be here to do anything, and don't know the slightest about the board, but it would be nice putting "served administrator osnn", if can do, THANKS

Been running around Quora lately, luv it there!
