How To Repair MSN Messenger

Hi All!
Can someone help me reinstall the integrated msn messenger in win xp cuz i run something from locker gnome how to uninstall messenger me being a bloody fool i did it without backing up or creating a restore point i heard that it can be done with ie 6 and oe 6 is there a way for repairing messenger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
