k, so I wanted to see how many reads were comming from the readyboost, here's what I did;

windows key+r, paste in "perfmon"

window that opens double click performance monoter

top right tool bar green arrow, hit that

go to the pull down top left, pull it down, scroll down to the ready boost thingy, double click

highlight and add;

cache reads/second

bytes cached

hit read bytes/second

apply and ok, there you can see how many reads are comming from your ready boost

Good and how many you had?? :)

hard to work and watch the monitor but it looks like the graph read/writes/sec are spiking about 5 and hit/reads/second are spiking about twenty and averaging less then 10, this is scaled so;

I highlight the counter I want to see, right click hit "show selected counters" and then the highlit counter is numerically displayed in the windows

bytes cached according to what I am seing is over a million, cahce read is averaging about 1 per sec, hit read bytes are averaging about 18000

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
