How to Keep Classic View in Explorer

Everytime I open My Computer or Windows Explorer, I keep getting a view listing of Files Stored, Hard Disk Drives, Devices with Removable Storage and Other instead of the classic view. I've applied the Classic View in Folder Options but it keeps returning to this setting. Is there a tweak available to correct this?

Classic Explorer

Create a new shortcut where ever you want it by right clicking>new>shortcut>(browse to windows and choose explorer>next >finished now you get classic view: When you are done the shortcut path should look like this:C:\WINDOWS\explorer.scf
