word on the street is that some printers can swap memory, which means some of us can have faster printers. they dont transfer ink to the paper faster, but data is sent faster..

for those with newer printers, you might wanna check it out.

:)

Kind of old word on the street don't you think. This has been available for some time now, but usually only in business class printers that have removable/upgradable ram.

 i guess i should pay more attention to this, rather than that.

Yeah it sounds pretty useless to get faster memory for you home inkjet or BW laser. :)
I, for one, don't print THAT much!

yeah it's completely useless since you won't be able to print faster :( The process of printing for home printers takes longer than the process of storing the data into it's memory, so there are no benefits whatsover at this time :(

i already have a 16ppm printer *shrug*

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
