how to download files on IRC

Hello i need help using IRC to get files, i stumbled across http://invision.lebyte.com/ and while it is ok i just want to know are there any other alternatives that would be even easier to use?

I just use basic IRCn ( www.ircn.org ) if you are just gonna get files from irc you can use just regular mirc and set up the dcc allow stuff, no need for all the fancy stuff

Just use a plain client, most scripts will tend to **** up somewhere down the line
